We encourage you to join us at our monthly meetings where you will have the opportunity to discuss your questions and concerns with those who have been living with a NET diagnosis with those who have been living with NETs for years (in some cases over 25 years.)

Our Mission

Providing opportunities for our members to connect with others who have these rare illnesses will enable them not only to get their questions answered, but also to give and receive emotional support. We aspire to bring greater awareness to the medical community and the public so as to promote earlier detection and treatment of these often unrecognized illnesses.

Conference

2024 Bay Area Neuroendocrine Patient Conference - Hosted by UCSF

Sunday, September 29, 2024 - 9:00 am to 3:30 pm
Mission Bay Conference Center - 1675 Owens Street, San Francisco, CA

The day will feature nationally renowned UCSF and Stanford NET experts and other known physician specialists who will offer sessions on various topics about Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETS). We will also have breakout sessions by disease type and breakouts for caregivers.

Extend lunchtime table talks. We are extending lunch networking time to 90 minutes and expanding the number of networking table topics.

Dr. Suki Padda MD., from Stanford University, spoke to NorCal CariNET on Lung NETs on April 1, 2017. Dr. Paddi received one of NorCal CarciNET 2016 educational travel grants to the NANETS symposium in Jackson Hole.
