Our next meeting in Walnut Creek is this Saturday, April 4th from 12-3 where our guest will be Dr. Jerome Zacks, Carcinoid Heart Specialist - Mount Sinai, New York via web conference. Dr. Zacks will speak at 12:15 so please arrive in time to hear his presentation. Technology willing, we will try to have this presentation online within a week.
As our group has continued to grow - and thanks to our contributions - we have added a second facilitator so we will always be able to support a caregivers or kids breakout at our meetings.
Please note the earlier start time of 12 noon, for just this meeting, to accommodate our guest from the east coast.

We did it again!
For the second year in a row we had over 50 people participate in the Oakland Running Festival, raising awarness of NETs in our community. We also raised over $4,500 so far for our NorCal CarciNET Community. Click here if you would like to add to our total.
Everyone had a great time and our president, Josh Mailman, was able to have a conversation with Oakland Mayor Libby Schaff who commited to recognizing November 10 as NET Awarness Day in the City of Oakland.
