If you have changed coverage, make sure your doctors and cancer centers take your new plan.  If not, you may need to change your plan before open enrollment ends. While insurance should universally cover cancer treatment and specialists, not all plans may work with your doctors or medications.  Ron Hollander, the executive director of Caring for Carcinoid Foundation wrote an excellent article about this issue.
